I find myself despairing over this darned 'bio' page, since it seems life moves too fast for me to not update it. I'll lay out some info about myself in a 'Ten Facts' sort of way.
1) My name's Hannah (and for a pretty simple name, you'd be surprised how many people seem to think it's either 'Anna', 'Anne' and, in one case, 'Alison').
2) I'm in school doing those Very Important Exams (this statement ought cover me for a few years), which means you'll find many blogs talking about coursework and missed deadlines (and perhaps the odd draft or two of my Last Will and Testament, but this is just me being dramatic, so ignore it). I deserve no sympathy, though, as it's generally my own fault for procrastinating so damn much.
3) Due to this aforementioned procrastination, I have won over 1000 games of Spider Solitaire. Shut up.
4) I quite like grammar and spelling but detest having to typeread (which means that my blog is a poor reflection of this fact).
5) I pick up hobbies and then become obsessive over them, which is how I've ended up with a few walls' worth of geekdom (Doctor Who, X Files, Buffy, Angel- it's like nerd mecca) in my room.
6) I love musicals and about 85% of my mp3 player's albums are musical recordings. Most people want a job to buy a car or fund their heroin addiction, but I'm just looking for a means to pay for more West End trips.
7) I extra especially love books, which doesn't really go well with the fact that I live in a box room. My favourite genre is detective fiction and my favourite author of that sort is Val McDermid. Yes, this does tend to fuel the lesbian rumours.
8) I'm one of those people who collects boring and pointless trivia that they then regurgitate during lulls in conversation (or if people just don't think me weird enough).
9) I like britcom and hold huge respect for stand up and improvisational comedians. I currently have a love/hate relationship with Mock the Week, as it's a scripted panel show pretending to be improvisational.
10) I also have rather a dark sense of humor (if someone famous has recently died, I''m sure to have at least 10 jokes about it) and have been known to push things too far. Plus, I can be critical as hell and moody to boot.
Still don't hate me? Add me as a friend or something!
